Albany

                         Whale world
The last working whaling station in Australia was decommissioned in 1978.  It has now been turned into a museum.  You can just see us at the bow of the ship.

                      Chart Room

                                                                                                    Ships steering

Wind turbines
Like Esperance, Albany also has a wind turbine farm.

Patting a koala
Whale world also had a nature reserve park which shows you many animals that live around the area.

Big Red Kangaroo

                                                                                       Blow hole
Albany's coast line is surrounded by natural wonders.  Behind me is called a blow hole.  When the oceans waves crash into the side of the rocky granite there is a hole in the rock where the water whooshes up like a whales blow hole.

Natural Bridge
Natural Bridge is carved from ancient granite by the forces of nature.
