A busy day exploring Perth

Today we explored the Perth Mint and watch gold being smelted and then being poured into a 6kg gold bar.  I tried to pick up a 12kg gold bar, but it was to heavy.

Oldest Bell in Australia
Cast approximately 450 years ago in 1550.  This bell is one of four bells that rang out from the tower of Upton Grey, in Hampshire, England.  The mouth diameter is 920mm and weighs 459kgs.
