Quobba Homestead
We spent the last four days at Quobba Station which is 80km north west of Carnarvon and runs parallel to the Indian Ocean and Lake McLeod. The station is approximately 187,000 acres. The shearing quarters were used for shearers accommodation until 2005 when Quobba Station changed from merino sheep that grow wool to demaras that are hairy and therefore don't require shearing.
